Is that Frost or Snow?????
Hi Ho Woofers
Daisy back again.
OTL fell out. of bed this morning and stubbed his toe on the corner of the bed, 'Oh curses' he cried out or something like that!
At the same time he also cried out that there was six foot of snow on top of the car!
Actually it wasn't snow, just a heavy layer of frost and six inches of foggy, foggy mist!
This is the covering of frost on the Box Plants.
Our car was covered in frost but not much 'cosThe Missus started the car up and melted the frost from the roof!
We had to wait until we got into the field before looking at the field.
Normally it is a lush shade of green and a trail of woofer poo from here to the poo bin which you can't see!
The branches on the tree was covered with a load of frosty bits and I decided that after a good poo the best place for me was the warm bed back in OTL's office!
OK, where is the exit, it was around here the last time I looked?
There is the possibility of snow tonight and maybe tomorrow, unless Sarn decides to hang on to her bit of snow down on the South Coast!
I hear the sound of the food bowl rattling on the kitchen floor so I'm off, bye for now.
Bye for now.
Luv,
Daisy.
Yo Daisy. Me and my mum went out a lot later than we usually do this morning, mostly cos we like to see where we're going and on account of the frost. I had another delivery of woofer scoff today so I have enough scoff now for the next 3 months at least, ohhhhh yummmmmm. I hardly see any woofers out these days, it's a shame cos I do like to have a little chat and discuss the sniffs, not that the sniffing is very good at the moment on account of the sniffs all being frozen. I was just about to turn into my house this morning when I spotted Gemma from up the road, so I sat my butt down, refused to move until my mum let me go and see Gemma. When I came home from my afternoon walk I spotted Hairball Harry up the road but my mum said if I didn't move, she would pick my up and carry me to the door! Well it was very chilly so I decided perhaps I'd go in and I'll catch up with Hairball another day. Me and my mum have had a lovely long siesta on the sofa, all snuggled up together under the furry throw. Paws crossed we don't get any snow, it makes my little plates very, very cold. I'm off back under the furry throw for another snooze. Take care, stay warm and safe all. Love, Chewie, the boy and my mum. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteLovely pic's from your walk today.
ReplyDeleteWe had a seriously hard frost this morning . . . I think it's called a hoar frost, and it looks like you had the same. Very pretty - but it was 'brass monkeys' outside. My boiler decided it had had enough and refused to work after it's initial burst of heat this morning. A hairdryer on the condensate pipe soon got that sorted out, thankfully, as the outside temp was minus 4º. Brrrrrr! 🥶
BTW: My rock hard snow had been covered by the hoar frost this morning and the one was indistinguishable from the other! Hope you don't get any snow - it's a nuisance. xxx
