F1 Qualifying

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy here, again! You know, for the first time for a long time we saw whit tops to the waves across the Medway, OK, I know they weren't big ones and the wind wasn't too strong but OTL had to keep pulling his hat back down over his ears! OK, so you will have to look hard but there are white tops to the waves! OK, is that any better? I suppose this is the first sign of Winter, it's not cold or anything like that, just a sign! Another sign is the Fisherman digging for worms in the mud, again, you have to look hard! OTL has been experimenting with different programs for processing photographs and has even been looking at the Adobe Lightbox program at £9.98 subscription per month. I reckon he is tempted 'cos it has been up on the computer for at least two hours! After lunch it was all packed away cos the F1 Qualifying was on the TV and while he watched the beginning he then fell asleep after line in time to watch Q2 and then fell asleep until after qualifyin...

Strangers and long term weather forecast from USA

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy dog here. For the last two mornings I have managed to get TL app and down the beach a good thirty minutes earlier than normal! Normally we don't meet anyone but today there were three TL's and three woofers all of which were strangers. One good thing, they were all friendly to OTL and enjoyed a tickle on the tail!  That's it, keep moving' we don't want anyone watching me having a wee! As we were early didn't meet anyone else and the only thing we saw were the wild sweet pea plants! Now I'm writing this blogcat ten thirtyas I've just returned from my morning wee and a poo, most enjoyable. It's getting warm up here in the office and I'm falling asleep my bed. I'm going down stairs so I can stick my head out of the lounge window where it is cooler! If I can think of anything new and exciting I'll wake the blog up and let you know. Yoo Hoo! Wakey, Wakey Woofers! Well, nothing exciting has happened except lunch time got a ...

Where has all the water gone?

Image
Hello Woofers, It's me again! Yesterday I managed to get a swim in the sea again and it also made OTL mad co's I refused to come out when called! I just love getting my bits wet! Continuing the theme of benches I found this one half gone, so, if anyone tried to sit on it they would end up on the ground! Where have all the benches gone, long time passing! This morning the tide was out and so was the water. All I would have ended up with would have been a muddy butt! It almost looks like an early morning view of the sea. If I had slipped on this lot I would have ended up with a green bum! Walking through the forest you can see that autumn is beginning to show it's self with all the leaves on the ground. Heading through the forest and kicking the leaves around! OTL and TM went off to the hospital to see what can be done about his poor hearing. The doctor put it down to a perforated ear drum and an infected ear. He has been referred to the ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) section of...

A few more Benches and a Soggy Doggy!

Image
Hello Woofers. Daisy here! Guess who managed to get in for a swim this morning? While OTL was saying hello to Jasper and his Two Legs, I sneaked down onto the sea front and became a real 'Soggy Doggy'! I had a great time while he was taking pictures of the benches along the sea front.. Do you know there were more benches than Poo Bins! There is another two benches in the distance. The fishermen like using this one cos' the fishing is productive in front of this location. This one has the back missing but if your only interested in fishing you don't worry with a back rest! This is the wooden bench that has a shelter behind which is great when it is raining! We have left out the last bench at the bottom of the hill before the forest starts, we'll save that for tomorrow! OTL. is off to the doctors  later today to get his ears syringed co's he can't hear TM when shouts at him, to be honest I think he is what is known as selectively deaf when she shouts at him! ...

International Doggies Day!

Image
Greetings Woofers Daisy here, Sorry that I missed yesterday, we had a visit from Alun and Glynis and I spent most of the day pinching cooked chicken and other tasty nibbles! Before they arrived I got a run out along the sea front. On the way out I saw that a load of scaffolding had been erected up the side of the church and I think the Chicken will soon be re-installed! OK, how long before the Chicken returns? The Missus had the shopping delivered and made a mistake on the Spring Onions, she thought that it was better she ordered some large onions and when they arrived they looked larger than Murphy's Nuts! Murphy is the Irish Woolf Hound! Today I decided to Photograph the benches of Grain and set about researching their locations. Looking around there seemed to be more benches than Poo Bins! There were loads scattered all over the place. There were different sizes and designs. And there were some covered in dedications to Uncle Albert! This is OTL's favourite 'cos it. is ...

And then it rained!

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy de Dog here! Just when you think it's going to be a gentle walk along the sea front, along comes the hooligans, Jack and Bertie. They get all the good sniffs and charge into the long grass! The tide was out so I couldn't get wet which was rather good 'cos it had started to rain! The dark clouds and the rain was marching down the River Medway so we didn't hang about! It was OK once we got into the forest but we still got wet from the rain dripping from the leaves. Lunchtime we went out again but to be honest, I had a quick wee and headed back home! That's about it from me, F1 is on doing a bit of practice to be followed by Qualifying. With a bit of luck the weather will clear up ready for tomorrow. Bye for now. Luv, Daisy.

Where Ya Bin?

Image
Hi Woofers, Daisy here again. I've just woken up from a super snooze after walking my paws off this morning. It was rather fun walking along the sea wall especially when it started to rain! OTL didn't have his rain proof jacket so he had to hide the camera inside his jacket to keep the rain off the jacket! Mind you, it was a good sunrise. We were discussing the sort of change we could make to the photographs. Something artistic or even a theme, so we came up with the Poo Bin Theme! First there is the bin by the football field. Now this one shows a woofer having a poo on top of a Two Legs, mind you, looking at the trajectory it looks like it could be a direct shot poo in the bin! Next is the bin by the sea wall, this has been in this position for a number of years and doesn't show the possibility of a doggy poo allowed, just a TL butt wipe!  Just before going down the steps there is another bin and this one has no markings just a crack in the side which makes it hard to pee...

Daisies Day of Sleep!

Image
Hello Woofers. It's me again. I'm still a little tired from our long drive back from Birmingham yesterday. You know it's so tiring looking out for the signposts indicating the correct motorway towards London! It was great fun when The Missus and I both were shouting at OTL to take the right hand motorway when he was going for the left motorway! This morning was a little chilly on our way down to the sea front. We met up with Jack and Daisy as they started out on their walk. Jack is the big one sniffing up all the sniffs! There was some light rain on our way to the sea front but it didn't last long and soon we were enjoying our wander up the path. This is a good escape path down to the sea side where I sometimes escape and have a paddle but today there was no chance as the sea was out and the mud in! OTL was getting all artistic and decided he was going to photograph one of our favourite works of art. Yes, it's the famous Poo Bin! If you look careful you can see tha...

Back Home is Good!

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy back with you again. We have been away this weekend visiting Martin and Liz.  It was Martin who bought Holly for his boys as a Christmas present but they soon discovered that  looking after a dog is more than just throwing a ball down the garden! Martin and Liz moved into a new house back in March and we were invited to visit once they had moved in and got the furniture sorted! They have even got a family of foxes at the bottom of their back garden! I wasn't allowed to go out and visit them and had to put up with watching then dancing about first thing in the morning! Across the road is a big area of grass where the locals walk their woofers but it also is an area where another family off foxes live and play. I must admit I was glad to get back indoors away from strange woofer sniffs and so much fox sniff as well! For a change we visited a RSPB site and spent time in a hide watching ducks and geese. It took me back to when Holly and I watched out fro...

Snoozy Snoozy

Hello Woofers Daisy here. Well, it has been cooler than yesterday and to be honest it has been pleasantly mild all day.  I managed to get OTL up at the crack of dawn but it still took him ages to get out of bed and dressed! There was no one on the beach nor on the sea wall. I had the whole beach to myself and had a great time digging holes! On my way along the path I spotted a big buck rabbit on the path ahead of me but it was just too far away to be bothered to chase, maybe next time. OTL took some pictures of me on the beach but when we got home the Card Reader wouldn't work and no matter what he did or what cable he used we couldn't get the reader and the card to talk to each other! Of course The Missus hasn't got a card reader so that's blown the plans for a series of fantastic shots of me swimming in mud and chasing crabs through the rock pools! OTL is taking his binoculars and because we have been promised a walk around the RSPB site and it is supposed to allow wo...

Lazy, Lazy, Lazy!

Hello Woofers, Daisy here. Another of those hot and sticky days here in North Kent. It got better as the day wore on so by the time half five arrived it was cool! First thing this morning we were late getting down to the sea front, a good half an hour later than normal and of course there wasn't a woofer to be seen! We are off visiting on Friday so won't be around until Monday, OTL has been plotting a route on the very old SatNav, in fact, it's so old it doesn't show the M25! We have been seeing Froggie sticking their head out of the pond when I got out for a wee before bed! It's a good job I don't wee in the pond at night time! Talking of wee's, I'm busting for a wee and have started making snivelling noises to alert OTL to my predicament so that means I must go now. See you tomorrow. Luv, Daisy.

Another Hot and Sticky day

Hello Woofers, It's me back again! Guess what I've been doing this morning? If you ignore  the Two Legs, this is me and Jack having a nibble of some food that the TL use as bribery Needless to say, it didn't work on me and I just nibbled a bit then spat it out as I didn't like what was on offer! We all had a sniff and a chase around, just to wind up the TLs who were trying to control us! In the distance we saw The Lads walking past but they didn't have any treats, so we didn't bother to tell what we got! Jack, Bert and Jasper giving the TL the      old 'Hairy Eyeball!' We split up at the top of the stairs and wandered through the forest looking for squirrels. Jasper only wants to look at them but I want to chase them up the trees! OTL washed the car yesterday and later today he was out with a stiff brush a dust pan and the vacuum cleaner then later it's off to the car wash to get it a wash and polish inside and out! Well, he took it down there and t...

Happy Birthday Rosie!

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy here. What a stinker of a day it's been, since. getting up early this morning the temperature has climbed up to around thirty five degrees. Down on the sea front I managed to get in for a splash in the water.which was great and you know what? I have discovered thatwiming in the water makes you deaf! We aught up with The Lads who were chasing balls and swimming in the water and you know what?  They were deaf as well! Now looking at my notes I see that it is Rosies Birthday and you all know what we do  on her birthday? On the count of 99......... 6 .......21.....45.....87........99 Happy Birthday to you Today you can do as you please You can save me some cake! Birthday Greetings to you! OK maybe it's not the best Happy Birthday song but it's so hot my ears are roasting. In our garden we found two huge frogs in the plastic bin and as soon as we put them near to the pond they both jumped out and into pond and disappeared from view! True to his word, OTL ...

A lazy Sunday

Hello Woofers, Daisy here. It's been a super lazy day today. I was up early and down the coast in time to see the lads ball chasing along the sea wall. OTL kept an eye on me and wouldn't allow me down on the beach or in for a paddle. He didn't take the camera with him as we seem to have photographs of every part of our normal walk. I'm going to look out for a new route through the forest. OTL has got plans to wash the car tomorrow which should be fun, who knows I may get washed! Sorry to se that Chewie has to put up with visitor who must feel put out that Chewie is the new dog in the house.  Mind you, putting Millie in the 'sin bin' when she shows off is the right thing to do. TM has just opened my tin of food so I'm off now! Bye for now. Luv, Daisy.

A Frog he would a corting go.

Yo Woofers Daisy here. It was a bit crafty this morning but I managed to hook up with the lads on the run along the sea front. I joined up with Hugo and went in hunt sniffs while OTL had fun throwing the balls for the hooligans and almost managed to hit one of the Two Legs when the ball went off course! It made a change to see the sunrise, mind you it will be a while before it is a proper sunrise. I thought I saw Devo and Zoro but in stead it was Jasper and his mate! The pond is doing well but I must find something to soak up the green water! One Froggy was tearing around the  path bordering the pond, he was pretending he was in the 600m hurdles but he fell at the water jump OTL has been doing some engineering on the parcel shelf in the car. with a bit of luck it should all harden up by tomorrow orig! I'm off to have some food before pinching OTLs crumpet covered with honey! Bye for now. Luv, Daisy.

More Videos!

Hello Woofers, Daisy here. You know it's hard waking up these Two Legs, I mean, I give them a cuddle to rock them off to sleep then go off to my own bed to sleep through to the morning. TM normally wakes up first but switches the TV on and plants her headphones on her ears so not to wake OTL up and he is snoring his tail off! So in stead of getting up  early I end up seeing The Lads in the distance! Well, they were here a while ago! The morning was a little muggy but still warm enough for OTL to go.out without his jacket or jumper on. It was too dark to show up the flowers. But we tried! OTL tried shaving his hair and judging from the result I'm glad he has my hair cut done by a professional! We can change his name to Old Ugly! Bye Bye for now. Luv, Daisy
