Back to Wet again.

Hi Woofers Daisy here. Well woofers, today has been wet, in fact our walk along the sea wall ended up with TL getting wet and soggy knee caps where the rain drips off his raincoat onto his trousers then onto his wellies and down to his socks! It seems that every time we g out, the rain comes down! You know, if I wasn't little ld lady woofer I'd have a wee in the garden! No pictures today and no video for Sarn to get inspired! You know I reckon OTL could have a go at card making but he would put real colours to the trees and green grass. We have noticed that TM does pink grass and blue skies! I reckon TM is colour blind! We go out in the garden last thing for a wee before bed and normally see up to six forges in or around the pond but since the rain has started, nothing! Nothing at all, no plop as they jump back into the pond or leap from the path into the pond. It's too early for hibernation, we haven't seen any cats hunting in the garden either. TM has an appointment ...

The Sun is Back.

Image
Hello Woofers Daisy Dog Here. Well, after yesterdays dismal weather this morning had promises of an interesting day. The sky holds the promise of some cloud work! We raced around the corner and headed up past the Two Trees and stood over looking the sea wall. Looking over the under growth you can just see the sea! A few more steps and the sea came into view. The sun was still in bed so the all we could see was the strong pre-glow or advanced warning! Now this is a pre-glow to wish for! We hung around at the top of steps waiting for the sun to show itself and got fed up with waiting but by the time we got down the steps, the sun had poked it's head above the horizon! Sneaky! We were out good and early to catch the horizon so we didn't see any of the woofers. It wasn't until we were back in the car and heading home that. we saw Eric and his brother who were off for their morning walk! Back home we found that the Tesco man had called with the food for this week. I headed off ...

The Sun is Back!

Hello Woofers, Daisy Dog here! Well now, what have we got here? First of all and most important, It's Chewie Mums Birthday! Yes it's another day when we get out the rhyming book to look up words that rhyme with Elaine! Elaine .....We'll get back to that We were pleased to see the sun poking out from behind the Two Trees. The Poo Bins are Missing! We walked along the sea wall and found a spot where the sun was both in the sea and the sky at the same time. Now, that looks super and the little puffs of cloud could be UFO's! Now, back to Elaine and her birthday song! Ready? After nine, here we go. 76, 34, 78, 9 Happy Birthday Auntie Elaine Young and beautiful may you remain! Another birthday, another year, Break out the gin and a gallon beer! Little Chewie wrote this song Now you all must sing along Even if it's a pain Happy Birthday Auntie Elaine! Boom Boom! Now, that ain't too bad! I'm off to seee what's in the food bowl! Luv Daisy

Wet!

Hi Woofers Daisy here! What a terrible time we've had, it seems that every time we go out for a walk it's raining! I get wet, OTL gets wet, the pond gets wetter and the frogs stay hidden under the plant leaves! Yesterday there wasn't' a thing to talk about and to be honest there seem to be the same today. We take the camera out but had to leave it in the cart we did see the little brown Spaniel type tearing around as usual. What time he has for a wee and a poo I just don't know, he just doesn't stop! The pond looks like it has waves surging up and down it's length. Now, how about this, OTL,   has just received a letter from the hospital booking a telephonic appointment to check up on the action of some pills he is taking. The appointment is for the ninetieth of December! Getting an appointment is either totally useless, waiting months and months or super fast if they think you could die, never the middle ground! OTL says he is going to change to the vet cos...

It promises rain today!

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy here I woke up early this morning expecting to find a sunrise sitting on the seaside waiting for a super red glow. That didn't happen, instead I woke to the gentle pitter patter of rain drops falling into the pond and keeping the frogs safe hiding under the leaves keeping dry! It was the same when we got down to the sea front, only not so wet! The only thing to see was the dredging machines slowly digging away in the trenches that will bring the German Electricity Cable across the North Sea! It didn't get any better as we walked along the seawall about the only thing of interest was the fact the tide was bringing the water further up the beach! The further we got along the seawall the more dismal it got and even the forest looked gloomy! I haven't seen Zoro and Devo for ages, I hope nothing has happened to them. It goes like that, you don't see some one for ages then you find out they have moved away! Well, I don't think we will be walking away...

Meet up with the man.

Hello Woofers Daisy here again. Well, another damp start to the day and no sunshine to talk of! In fact is was wet and damp and puddles everywhere along the sea front. One of the good things though, we met up with Stormzi! Yo Shorty do you Wanna Rap with me! Normally he is with The Lads but for some reason it was Ollie and Hugo searching for the sniffs along the seawall. We didn't hang around 'cos the walking pace is rather slow and we always seem to overtake them and beat them through the forest. He may be a classy rapper but at least I don't have to stay on my lead! OTL and I had to be locked up in the office cos The Missus was doing another batch of videos and you know how showy of she gets when she makes a mistake and the language would make a stoker blush! Walking through the forest. we saw a squirrel bouncing through the tree branches and it made me remember that I hadn't seen him for a while, still, we got a lot of trees and he is good at hiding! Well, that'...

A quick boot in the back!

Hello Woofers, Daisy here. You know I thought we were in luck this morning. OTL was finishing off his sleep when he did a big jump an almost banged his head the bedroom door. Mind you, when he is dreaming he thinks he in in one place but in reality he is somewhere else! I wonder if any other woofer has the same problem with their Two Legs? I can imagine Chewie racing around the bed waking everyone up but he a lot younger than me! When I finally got OTL up and washed and ready for the walk around the sea wall. The sun was up and all the glow of sunrise had gone, so I had to help OTL  fiddle with the controls on the camera. We managed to get some sun beams coming down from the clouds but not the  colours we would normally like to see. It was noticeable that the hedgerow had taken on the shades of autumn, the fruits were swelling and the leaves were turning. As we got close to the steps leading to the forest we looked over to the East and saw that the view was still the sam...

Rap like no ones looking!

Hello Woofers Daisy here. Did you hear that storm last night? There was thunder and lightening rain in bucket loads and on. top of that, it was stinking hot! Of course, OTL was fast asleep snoring his whiskers off while TM was jumping around on the bed and making funny noises! It was around six thirty that OTL finally woke up and fell out of bed, with a little help from me! OTL and I were off to the sea front and on our way we met up with a newish woofer. I say newish cos. we have seen him before but never got introduced to him properly. OTL and the Two Legs got chatting about the weather and I asked him his name. I was a little taken back when he started blowing raspberries our from under his tail and started Rap Singing! Now you all know me I’m cool and easy A laid back woofer looking good and breezy Just stand aside  and let me through   I gotta pain in my butt and I need a poo Now I know where I’m going and what I’m gonna do You can follow where I’ve bin by the sniff...

Still No Catchum!

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy here' Well, we are still searching for the phantom back poker and we are having no luck! Take last night, OTL woke up several times only to find himself looking at the bedroom wall and wondering why he thought he could hear. the Tesco delivery man but when he looked at the clock he found it was still three thirty! Finally it got light enough to go out. for a wander along the sea front as the sun came up' The sun was looking brilliant on the horizon and if we had a telescopic lens it would have looked better! For some reason or other the sun didn't look as dramatic as it looked in real life! Still, I made up for it by the time I got to the edge of the forest! Me! Just to make it more exciting, here is another of me heading towards the forest! Mind you, they were from yesterday! Well that's from yesterday, you see I forgot the blog 'cos I was watching F1 Practice. Today I have been watching F1 Qualifying as they all race around Singapore docks! N...

No Catchum Poker!

Image
Help Woofers Daisy here. Well now woofers, This morning I lay in my bed with my back towards TL and waited for OTL to get a poke in the back or get a well placed foot  and the old heave ho to send OTL crashing to the floor. Nothing moved and OTL didn't wake up until five thirty! It looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow to catch the phantom kicker! The weather was terrible this morning, no sun, just clouds all the way down to the sea wall. Even the old bench looked damp from the mist! It wasn't any better looking out across the Medway and we only just saw the Old Fort through the mist. No sunrise, no blue sky, no woofers no foxes but at least the rain kept off! I've had a lazy day today, I managed to get out for a walk across the football field but again I didn't get to meet any woofers although I did see one of the tear arse spaniel racing across the field and into the farm field and then he disappeared. I left him to get on with it and he was last seen. cras...

Who is poking OTL?

Image
Hello Woofers Daisy here with a question! OTL has been getting up early over the last week so he can take some photos of the sunrise. Now OTL is not that good at. getting up early and would rather stay in bed! To help him. TM has offered to wake OTL at six, it's just how he is being woken that is causing a mystery.  OTL says that five is a little early and could TM refrain from poking OTL with her sharp finger nails. Now, here comes the problem, TM says she isn't poking OTL and refuses to explain the bruises up and down his spine! It's. not me 'cos I'm the office and in my bed, so, the mystery continues! Down on the sea front the sunrise didn't happen and there were no woofers to say hello to! Grey clouds and no sign of a woofer, I blame OTL getting up too early before the sun gets up! Just look at that mud oozing all over the place! Lunchtime we went over the football field and I spotted a TL with five woofers and all of them were chasing a ball being thrown b...

Here comes the sun!

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy here again. As promised, I woke OTL up while it was still dark and gave his ears good licking and on top of that I made him switch the bedside light on! That got him moving and it wasn't long before we were falling out the front door. Down in Grain the sky was broken but not the sunny morning we had hoped for. Things changed as we turned the corner and headed off to the Two Trees. Just as we got close to the famous Poo Bin the sun lit up the horizon and we got the shot we were looking for. Now that was better and off setting the sun made a change more interesting and it covered the whole gambit of cloud. Back home I crept into bed for a morning snooze just to sleep off my morning walk. Lunchtime came and after a walk I worried OTL into coming down stairs and having a cuddle while. lunch was served! Of course after lunch we both had our after lunch snooze and OTL got his slice of ice cream but I missed out! Who knows, we might get some nibbles tonight! Bye bye ...

What happened to the sun?

Image
Hi Woofers, Daisy here. How have you all been?  I expected to get OTL up good and early and down the sea front to catch the sunrise like wot I did over the last couple mornings. I got all excited and couldn't wait to see what result he could come up with. Grey Clouds! Now, common, just when we were expected to put a blazing early morning sunrise what did we get? Rubbish! Down on the seawall I couldn't see anyone anywhere! It's one of the problems of an early start, no sign of The Lads or The Hooligans! just me tripping along the sea wall! Lunchtime it was just the same, grey clouds, I was looking forward to a good bite of OTL's lunch but what do I get? Salad! See you tomorrow. Luv, Daisy.

An early sunrise and F1 racing!

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy here again. I Love Sundays, you get to lay in bed an extra hour and snooze the morning away, well, you would if you didn't want to catch the early sunrise! So, there I was, kicked out of the front door into the dark of night and lifted into the back of the car 'cause I couldn't see the seat to jump onto! We got down to the sea side in Grain, just in time to catch the sun light up the horizon. Looking at the sky we reckoned we could get around the corner in time to catch the sun coming over the horizon. Well, OK, so it doesn't always work out as planned! We were out too early to even see the first sign of the sun. Even before the sun got up we were up the hill and heading down into the forest. Mind you, we got home early and as normal OTL and I made good use of the morning and we both fell asleep again! I carried on snoozing in my bed while OTL put his paws up and watched TV until midday when the F1 Racing started. I must admit that watching twenty ...

Keeping OTL on his paws!

Image
Hello Woofers Daisy Dog back again! I've been getting OTL to walk up earlier than normal so I an get him down the sea front and get him to exercise like wot he should be doing but all he seems interested in is picking up my poo! Today was a little bit of a novelty as we headed down to the sea front the sky burst into golden colour! It started just after we had come off the football field and around the corner to see the Two Trees. The sun was below the horizon but you could see it was galloping away to get up before we had got to see it properly. We rushed around and climbed up over hill just in time to see the vista all lit up, the first reasonable sunrise we have had since the beginning of Spring. Now, how about that, blue sky, red sun reflection from the sun, misty sea fog and squiggly mud! As it was so early, by the time we got home we were so tired all I could think of was getting a couple of hours snooze in my favourite bed. OTL was the same, he started off looking at the em...

TM Showing Off!

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy here again. Now you know that OTL thinks he is some sort of super star as far as the camera goes. Well, TM has been listening to the words of wisdom OTL has been spouting, which is a first! However, it seems that her photography has improved no end! A Painted Lady having a rest on TM's arm! Not bad, for a beginner! We were out early this morning and met up with Jasper and his handler and together we found some serious sniffs! Now this one deserves a good long sniff! Now, this is one of OTL's classic shots and remembering the old rule, Don't shoot into the sun? As OTL says, to hell with the rules, bend them like you mean it! We came across a flock of gulls nibbling on the sea weed or maybe it was the sand flies, but as we got closer they all took off making a heck of a noise! I wanted to woof at them but OTL said I would be showing off! We had Simon arrive to service. the heating system and teach OTL how to program the heating machine. It took a while t...

Whoops!

Image
Hello Woofers Daisy here. It's funny but down here we seem to get all sorts of weather in a short space of time. Take this morning,  I'm up and out the front door heading off to the seaside. It was raining as we headed for the car and was glad to get into the dry. As soon as we got to Grain the rain had stopped but by then we had left the camera in the car and was walking along the sea wall. I don't mind the rain if it comes down like a gentle shower but I don't like it when it's too wet! Back home OTL decided to photograph the pond seeing how we missed out on the seaside. It's this bit where the frogs hide during the day, if it's sunny! This year OTL planted some lilies expecting to see some blooms but so far we have seen nothing but leaves! Maybe they need a year to get settled? OTL was late in getting up and so that means I was late in getting up and that follows I did a wee on OTL's side of the bed while he was in the shower! My excuse is that I'...

And then the rain came!

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy here. Well, the weather man has been prattling on about rain heading our way for the next two or three days, swooping in from the West. No matter how often it was forecast, there was no sign of it at all. We setup with The Hooligans and they confirmed that there was no rain behind them! Yo Shortie! No matter how much I looked around there was just no rain clouds to be seen. I thought there may be some rain in the woods but when we got into the forest, again, nothing! You know, there was no sniff of rain anywhere! It was not until after lunch and getting on for late afternoon that I heard rain beating on the windows that the rain arrived, late as usual. You know I had to wait until almost half five before the rain stopped and it was dry enough to go out! All that water helped me go for a wee, splashing through the wet grass! OTL got a message from the doctors inviting him to go for a flu jab and had to book an appointment for the 9th October. OTL don't mind the...

We had to stay silent for hours!

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy and OTL here! I tried to get OTL up. early today but by the time we finished we were up at the normal time of six thirty when all the traffic is piled up on the road. It's those traffic lights again holding up all that traffic that wanted to get to work! The sun was poking above the gas tanks. but the clouds were not lit up like I expected. Well, there's the sun but the clouds are not as dramatic as expected. Down on the sea front we should have been down there half an hour sooner to catch the cloud display. One good thing, we caught up with The Lads as they chased balls, well, whatever turns you on! Com'mon Daisy, sniffs ahead! OTL was dragging his paws waiting for a blast of sun splattered cloud to brighten the morning! Well, that was a waste of time! One of the best things about meeting up with The Lads is that we always share sniffs! Now,  this is a great sniff, just right for sharing! Back home I spent the rest of the day making sure the bed was so...

Sunrise Coming Back?

Image
Hello Woofers Daisy here. Sorry,  missed the blog yesterday, I fell asleep on OTL's lap while he snored his head off in front of the TV! He can be so lazy when he puts his mind to it! Although today the weather has been wet and very. damp yesterday and the day before we had some brilliant sunrises. You can't beat a good sunrise if you got some gas containers to light up! The sky is so changeable, I mean, go around the corner and you get another view of the sunrise over the sea and I will confess,  the one above was yesterday! These photos are a change from normal but I really can't wait for when the clocks go back to real time again 'cos we should get some real sunrises after a month! Then you can get me all lit up like a Christmas tree! That was terrible, the first mention of Christmas this year, I hope you have all started making your Christmas cards! Bye for now. Luv, Daisy.

OTL has a walk!

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy here. Well, it's a first for a few days, OTL got up early this morning and we headed off to the sea front. Heading towards Grain the sun was directly in our eyes, quite a sight! A whole lot of gas! You know, they have been digging up this road for ages and I reckon they will be ages before they finish. In the space of one mile there are six traffic lights controlling the traffic! We just have to put up with it and accept that they will put the pot holes back in when they finish! The view from the sea front was super, not blastingly brilliant but worth the shot! Just look at that sky! The last shot before diving down into the forest. The Missus has been off to her Crop and Glue & Glitter Game up at the village hall with her mates so OTL and I have had  gentle day watching the TV and playing on the computer! OTL seems better, not 100% but better he managed to walk over the field lunch time and we have been chasing each other around the lounge! Well, tha...
