Daisy's NEW Diary

 Hello Woofers, Daisy here with a warning of Thunder & Lightning, well, the talking ball with a silly name of Alexa, lit up like a night bulb and announced that there would be a risk of Thunder & Lightning. So far, nothing! Lightening? It's been windy and sunny and I managed a run along the sandy beach and even had a paddle! This is how a sunny day should be. We met up with Pammy and  her woofer whose name I forgot but OTL gave him a tickle behind the ear! I remember you from a couple of weeks ago! OTL arranged to pick up some more pills as the wholesaler still haven't shipped mine yet but when we got down to the vets they haven't opened the box yet! We have been told come back after 15:00hr  and we arrived in time but had to wait half an hour while they ferreted around looking for the pills! We decided that after all of that we deserved a run along the sea front! So, after all of that we got home to a cooling blast from the office fan turned up to maximum blast l...

Hello Woofers, Daisy here. You know it is getting warmer every day and judging by the news it looks like. the world is either on fire or flooding.  It's beginning to smoke here! The flowers are still blooming all over the place and the water is just as inviting as it was the other day! It's good sliding along on top the weed and skidding Ito the water. It's great doing a four paw slide and diving into the river. We managed to catch up with the lads and race everyone up the hilly path! Half way up the hill they lost the ball and we over took them searching for the ball! Hugo and I got fed up with them searching and went down of the beach again searching for sniffs. Once through the forest again we hung around looking for Devo and Zorro 'cos we sometimes meet up with them on this spot but unfortunately they were nowhere to be seen. Last night before we went to bed OTL looked into the pond and saw a frog about 50mm diameter, so that went down  as this years hatchlings! I...

 Hello Woofers, Daisy here. It's bee a real muggy day today, it started early this morning with me jumping. onto the bed and giving his ear a real good 'Wake Up Call'! You know I just don't understand why he doesn't enjoy getting up early and down to the sea front! The second tree is to the left and that sea looks inviting! Mind you getting up early means yo mis all the usual crew so I'm stuck with looking at the flowers. Now, where did we leave the sea? It's pleasant studying the flowers, except when OTL gets a nose full of pollen and ends up a slobbering lump on the path! OTL reckons this is the worse bit about taking a woofer for a walk! Mind you, once you are out of the forest the pollen eases off and the sneezing reduced. Heading back home at lunchtime we came across Freddy who was getting a wash down on the front lawn with the garden hose. It seems that like us, we don't have a bath, just a shower but unlike OTL, this Two Legs strips off and climbs...

 Hello Woofers! Daisy here on a sunny Sunday. The last time we looked we had one silver and one bronze medal! It can only get better! Let's face it, I got OTL up at five thirty and down the front in time to get my tummy wet at high tide! You just can't beat wet bits! I knew it was going to be good 'cos it was bright all over the football field. Now, here is a pretty view! This view of the Two Trees is just as we decided to do a poo in the middle of the path. Job for OTL! I caught the sniff of a high tide and off we go heading towards the sea. Just great having the chance of wetting your tail! Loads of flowers and a chance of drying off your tum! Hello Woofers, Daisy here in the sunshine! !'m laying in my bed dictating Daisy's Blog and on the TV in Paris it's raining and in Spa the F1 cars are swimming around the track! Full stop, new paragraph! Here in sunny North Kent we have sunshine with a few clouds. An early morning walk along the sea front. Going through the forest there was sunshine poking through the leaves. It was here that OTL saw the badger in the trees to the right. I didn't see it 'cos I was more interested in sniffing the sniffs and searching for Devo and Zorro! I haven't seen the squirrel for some time I hope he hasn't. got lost! We watched the opening of the Oylimpics and were impressed with the hot air balloon, the rest were a bit boring and the number I of people holding the torch and then running five steps was a bit. strange! Still, what ever turns you on! I suppose we now have two weeks of running and jumping. I'm. off to bed as I am a little tired of watching the F1 practis...

Hello Woofers, Daisy here. We have been having a right two and eight with ordering some pills to stop me wheezing when I'm asleep. One small problem is. original prescription shows Quantity :- one hundred tablets (10), the vet looks at the description and rejects the order just 'cos a zero is missing. Our vet issues a new prescription with the correct wording but takes three days to issue an internal order! By this time the supplier cancels the internal order and we are scrabbling around looking for the new prescription. OTL is on the Dog & Bone winding up the supplier and the vet to get their act together and get me some pills! OTL says that if the worse comes to the worse he will get a new supply from our vet at some ridiculous price! Where's my pills? I didn't take out the camera this morning and to be honest the lunchtime walk was a bit boring!    Late afternoon walk was a run around looking for the pills but. we couldn't find any.  Hello Woofers, It's me again. It's been a mild day today, just a little bit of rain, nothing much to worry about. I managed to catch up with The Lads first thing this morning, chasing the balls around all over the place. OK, who is making all this noise? As I cleared the bushes it was obvious who was making the. racket! It was Hugo coming over to say 'hello' to OTL! Not so many of the woofers today but they still intimidate me and I have to go and hide in the long grass 'cos I don't like it when I want a poo and someone is looking at me! Bet you can't see me hiding in the long grass! OTL has been playing with the computer again trying to get the computer to talk to printer. We can get the big printer to work and also the scanner but the not the 'Mono' printer. I think he will try to hook it up to the laptop computer tomorrow. We had some fun with the new pills I have. to take. The wholesaler vet rejected the vets prescription because of a missing ze...

Hello Woofers, Daisy here! You know there are some days when after spending all day working hard you look back and can't say what you have been doing to pass the day! Today has been one of those days. OK,I know I woke OTL up this morning with a cold wet nose in his ear and I know I went out for a walk along the sea shore.  I remember woofing at a cat on the way home. Then when I got home I went up stairs to my bed and snoozed until midday wheny body clock told me it was time for a walk and a wee again. Back home for a spot of lunch and a snooze until the body clock says it's time for a walk around the garden to chase the birds off the flowers. But I just can't tell you what I've been doing! Good innit! I remember the morning wee bit. Then I saw the flowers Not much in the way of shipping. Say Hello to the Poo Bin. Then back home for a snooze.  Hello Woofers, Daisy here. It's been a warmish day today not too hot but just right for doing a wee and a poo along the sea wall. The carnival have moved on to the next field. The Lads were down. on the sea front but I didn't go down to see them as they were making too much noise chasing the balls. I know The Lads are down there, it's just that I. can't see. them! Looking at the. clouds you really can't make out whether it will rain, in fact it did rain on the way. back home but we were. inside the car and didn't get wet at all. Well, I can hear them but the weeds are just too. high! OTL spent time. looking at the pond but couldn't see any Froggies but he thought he could see a Froggie but even that turned out to be a wet grey stone, he had to get The Missus out to confirm that it was a stone! We were wondering if the Lilly flowers. will wait until next year to bloom still it will be a good surprise if they do bloom this year! That will be all today, I'...

Hello Woofers, Daisy here, Well, the Carnival packed up overnight and by the time we passed the football field there were only a few left to go today. And then they had all gone! Seeing just. how late we were in getting down on the sea front, the only thing there was to photograph was the wild flowers along side the path! A shot of the Two Trees from the other side than normal! You can see just how tall the weeds have grown and there were loads of small butterflies flitting through  undergrowth both sides of the path. We saw loads of insect type of life but no lizards or grass snakes or even slowworms, maybe they will turn up next year after the undergrowth has had time to regenerate. I reckon there will be room for some bigger animals to make a camp in the wild Sweet Pea Plants and there is plenty room for more when the plants grow bigger! Still no sign of a flower from the Lilly Plants although there are fifteen leaves floating on the pond surface! The Taddley Poles are doing wel...

 Hello Woofers, Daisy here. I don't know what it's been like your end of the world but here it has been wet. It was all dry and warm when we left home but half way to the sea side the rain dropped down and soaked the car screen, in fact it was s wet we had to have the screen wiper speed set to high! To start off I could sniff the rain and decided to have an extra snooze before leaving home! Waiting for the rain to clear! By the time we got down to the sea side the rain had eased off and we thought it had finished for the day but half way around the walk the rain started again and OTL got wet and so did his short sleeve 'T' shirt, and his trousers got just as wet! You can see the rain clouds on the horizon and if you turned around you could see more  rain charging down the rivers Thames and Medway!  Hello Woofers, Daisy here. Yesterday was the hottest this year and didn't we know it! We couldn't get to sleep very well overnight, OTL was thrashing about trying to get in a position where the fan blew a draft over him and there I was trying to. do the same! Today with the camera we were down the sea front about fifteen minutes earlier than normal and saw the carnival was all up and running. What is the price of a ride nowadays? The tide was out and I was banned from swimming in the mud! The tide was out and to be honest I really didn't fancy swimming in the mud and looking up the sea wall there were no other woofers who looked like they were going to try for a. mud pie swim! I decided that instead of mud swimming I would go diving into the grass and flowers, loads of fun until OTL reminded me that I was staring up the pollen and giving his hay fever hell! Hello Woofers, Daisy here. Well, just a short blog today, we went out first thing this morning and even at half seven it was muggy. OTL had left his camera at home 'cos he reckoned that the light was just too bland to make a sensible photo! I must say that I agreed with him and even going through the forest it was still muggy. Back home wee decided that we would stay down stairs in the lounge where it was the coolest, with the curtains drawn and the windows open! That really is all that happened today, other that the F1 practice and the F3 Qualifying all the way from Hungry. I can see that tonight it will be 'Kick off the Blanket' time!  Hello Woofers, Daisy here. Just found a couple of photos I missed from yesterday! Pammie and Barney Barney is the one with the tail! It's all going up at bumper rate so it's all read for the Friday off. We got down to the sea front and the sky was a sort of yellow colour. Talking of Sky, OTL, tried setting the Sky TV router up so it works on the internet and after much mumbling and cursing it finally sprang into life, working on all channels! Sorted! Mind you, that gave us time to book an appointment with the vet to see about my wheezing chest.  So, I'm off to get checked up by the vet and this time he had better breath on the stethoscope and warm it up before sticking it on my tum!   I found this one of Devo, Zorro and me having a game of chase and sniff! I'm the one in the middle! I've just got back from the vet, pills ordered and plastic card flashed about! Bye for now. Luv Daisy
