Cold?
Hello Woofers,
Daisy here.
Well, I don't know about you but it''s been cold and frosty down here and rather slippy on the roads!
We were coming back from the morning walk, driving behind a motor cycle who kept on slowing down as soon as he got to a patch of slush. At first OTL thought it could have been one of those 'You ran into the back me' scams button the end and after it happening about six times he decided was just a bad driver!
We let him drive ahead and in the end drove off a side read just to get away from him!
It's going to be cold all over the weekend and it won't get warm again until Monday, well that's what the weatherman was promising this morning!
One thing is the sunrise, although it's not spectacular there has been the beginning of a sunrise that has promises, but it didn't develop!
Once the sky gets brighter you can see just how thick the frost is on the ground!
Yo Daisy. Smashing pictures today. I'm not keen on this cold frost stuff. It was so cold last night my mum decided to leave the heating on in case the pipes froze, well they didn't but it was nice to get up in the warm this morning, instead of waiting while my mum turns it on of a morning. We're only going for 2 good walks a day instead of 3 shorter walks, my mum doesn't do cold outside and one of the dog walking chaps told her she looks like a character out of South Park in her new coat. We had Richard our neighbour in yesterday doing a few jobs, do you know, he let me help him get things out of his tub of tools and fittings, I like Richard cos when he's finished doing the jobs he plays with me while my mum makes his 2nd cuppa of strong tea. Yesterday I went to the vets for my weekly weigh in and a check up with Sam, he's the vet wot has seen me most when I wasn't very well and he used to ring and email to see how I was doing, well yesterday was his last day at our vets so we thought it would be nice to say good bye and let him see how well I'm doing, I got my mum to get him a little present and card to say thank you. I'll miss seeing Sam on account of he was the only chap there, but, I do like the ladies as well so I won't be put off going, just that sometimes a chap prefers to see another chap when they have something sensitive to tell them, like having a very itchy bum, not sure the ladies don't get embarrassed when you mention a very itchy bum. I've not seen very many of my mates lately, I reckon they don't come out incase they get their plates of meat frozen. Right, I'm back off for snuggle on the sofa, take care, stay warm and safe and away from bad drivers. Love, Chewie, the boy and my mum. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteVery wise to steer clear of bad drivers - no matter what vehicle they are driving!
ReplyDeleteVery cold and frosty on the south coast yesterday - and the same today! We had snow earlier in the week and it's still hanging around as rock hard ice now! Lovely sunrise photo OTL!
Stay warm and cosy everyone. xxx
