Late again!
Hello Woofers
Daisy here.
You know OTL is getting really lazy these grey mornings.
At one time we would be up by six and on the road good and early, down the sea front by seven and back to the car by seven forty five.
Nowadays we are still in bed at seven and just waving to the lads by seven forty five, missing all the lads and the other woofers.
The mornings are still grey and the chances of getting a sunrise is almost zero!
The only activity is the birds getting their breakfast as the tide slowly fades out into the Medway Mud!
Further along the sea front we come across the glory that is Sheerness Docks!
We remember when the docks were full of ships unloading cargo, there were four container cranes.
Across the river on the Grain docks there are just three cranes left as the rest were shipped off to Tilbury.
Just before we turned off towards the forest, the sky sort of twisted around and we were presented with
another attempt at being a grey morning!
TM has spent the morning making cards for the family and complaining about the cost of a second class stamp, £1.80!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy.
Yo Daisy. Smashing pictures of that sky today. I don't blame OTL for staying in a nice warm pit for a bit longer on these cold, windy and wet mornings. I have to say getting up isn't my favourite thing to do. Mind I was out this morning and only saw Blaze and his TL first thing. I blew a few more raspberries at Blaze and that winds him up, he gets right bouncy and growly when I do that to him. On my 2nd walk I saw Moss and we had a jump around together, we're right good mates and we like walking along together discussing sniffs, then I saw the labrador wot lives up the road and me and him had good sniffs and if one of us did a wee, the other had to sniff and do a wee on top. I must say there are some very nice mates around my area, mind there is also some snappy woofers wot I steer clear of, they've got no manners. I spent the morning watching telly, then sitting on my mum's lap and watching Mrs TM and Mrs Pat, I saw Bertie and I saw you too Daisy, although you was very wriggly when Mrs TM had you on her lap. I do like Mondays and listening to the lady's gassing. My mum reckons it's daylight robbery the cost of stamps. I've had a lovely siesta this afternoon curled up with my mum on the sofa. Right, I'm off for another snooze, so take care, stay warm, safe and dry all. Love, Chewie, the boy and my mum. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
