A Touch of Wind!
Hello Woofers,
Daisy back again!
Well, didn't it blow yesterday, we went out early to drop TM off at the village hall then we headed for the sea side.
We didn't take the camera because it was dark and gloomy.
Going around our normal walk we got blown one way then around the corner we get blown in the other direction!
We met up with the lads who were heading home via the forest and keeping a watch out for falling trees!
Today was just the same except today TM decided to come along with us.
It was still windy and we got blown one way and around the corner the wind blew the other way and we could almost lean back into the wind and get blown along!
Now yesterday TM brought home a wondrous creation produced by Master Cake Maker Phil this is a cake worthy of the Gods!
It seems Phil and Rose (Boss Lady) know it is likely OTL would start nibbling well before the 25th December!
Now TL also likes Sour Dough bread and young Judith very kindly saves a small loaf for OTL each time they have their Crafty Get Togethers.
Unlike Phil's creation, OTL is allowed to eat the loaf as soon as it arrives!
This shows the results of a Saturday nibble and saving enough for Sunday Lunch Snack.
The one thing OTL is, is well looked after by the ladies and Phil!
With a bit of luck the wind will have dropped by tomorrow .
Bye for now.
Luv,
Daisy.
Yo Daisy. Well we've had monsoon type rain and typhoon type winds here. It's a good job I go out on my lead on account of it stops me getting blown away. Our coats all go in the drier when we get home on account of us getting soaked every time we go out. Not many woofers around down this neck of the woods but, I won a prize for all the walks I've been doing, cos no matter, wind, rain, shine, hail or snow, I still have been doing my walks and I'm on my way now to completing 600 miles . Mind, in this weather I'm in danger of getting trench paw. I saw Blaze the other day on my morning walk and I blew raspberries at him and called him a giant hairball, he couldn't do anything about it cos I was up the road before he realised, BUT, I met him again in the afternoon and he was not amused, he called me shorty and said he'd eat me and I wouldn't make a mouthful for him, well, he weighs 59 kilos, and I'm only little but my mum protects me. That cake and bread look tasty, I'd be sat sitting next to OTL for ages if I was you in the hope of getting a smackrel. I'm hoping the weather improves quickly, it's quite cold. Take care, stay safe and warm and wrap up well all. Love, Chewie, the boy and my mum. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
