Windy 'ole weather, Stormy 'ole weather
It's Daisy here.
What a day!
We were out this morning at six thirty and the wind was blowing a gale on the forest with the trees bent right over and the temperature so high ou would think there was a storm coming in!
Mind you, it didn't last long 'cos as soon as we went around the corner the the wind nearly blew us back to the car park!
All the way back home the wind was buffeting the car and we had to slow to stop us getting blown all over the road!
Lunchtime was the same but as we were walking over the back of the field we weren't worried about getting blown into an on coming car, just getting blown into a hedge!
The fence was staying in position but the tree was divesting itself of leaves and blowing them into next doors garden, except for the ones that had blown into the pond!
But they were small leaves!
See you tomorrow unless Storm Bert has blown us away!
Luv,
Daisy.
Yo Daisy. Well it's been pretty much the same here, wind, wind and more wind! It's a good job I keep hold of my mum on the end of the lead or she might get blown away. The rain has been hammering down as well. My first walk wasn't too bad, no rain but all the walks since have been rainy walks. My mum has been taking me out a fair bit today on account of lumps of branch are coming down from the trees at the back of our garden and she doesn't want me to get hit by one. When she opens the front door, we've got a great big pile of leaves trying to get in. Even the boy only went for a 2 hour walk today on account of the wind and rain. I'm having a nice snuggle now and making the most of not getting blown away or soaked until the next time my mum says walkies. Take care, stay warm and safe all and hang on to the lead Daisy, make sure OTL doesn't take off in the wind. Love, Chewie, the boy and my mum. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
