Back to cold again!
Hello Woofers,
Daisy here.
Well, no snow or frost but there was a wind blowing that brought in the 'Chill Factor' which means it
feels colder than it would be if there no wind! (Technical. speak for Butt freezing cold!)
We didn't take the camera 'cos it was too dark for sensible photography however, we met up with Devo and Zoro again at the gate. It was fun dancing around but they couldn't hang about but said Bye Bye and hope to meet tomorrow.
Walking along the top path we could hear the gulls fighting on the mud flats and noticed a flock of Brant Geese land on the mud as well.
There seemed to be more Brant Geese than in past years which is good news!
Back home we settled down a pleasant snooze that lasted until lunch time when we were out again on the football field and the wind was blowing through the bushes dropping the temperature .
That was a good reason to get a move on and back to the comfort of a warm bed!
Listening to the weatherman we are expecting a storm in the next two or three days and it goes by the name of Bert and wind speeds of 60-70mph!
It had better not come my way, mind you at that speed it will blow all the leaves away!
See you all tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy.
Yo Daisy. Well it was supposed to be a bit warmer here today, but like down your way, there was a definite chilly breeze. I didn't hang about on my walks either, it was a quick hello to my mates and the charging up the roads to get back in the warm. I had a lovely snooze snuggled up to my mum after dinner and then a wrestle with the boy when he got home from his walk. I'm snuggling down again now until my last night walk of the day and then I intend to get snuggled in bed. Glad to hear you met up with Devo and Zoro this morning. I hope this Bert storm misses us. Take care, stay safe, warm and dry all. Love, Chewie, the boy and my mum. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
