Back Home is Good!

 Hello Woofers,

Daisy back with you again.

We have been away this weekend visiting Martin and Liz.

It was Martin who bought Holly for his boys as a Christmas present but they soon discovered that  looking after a dog is more than just throwing a ball down the garden!

Martin and Liz moved into a new house back in March and we were invited to visit once they had moved in and got the furniture sorted!

They have even got a family of foxes at the bottom of their back garden!

I wasn't allowed to go out and visit them and had to put up with watching then dancing about first thing in the morning!

Across the road is a big area of grass where the locals walk their woofers but it also is an area where another family off foxes live and play.

I must admit I was glad to get back indoors away from strange woofer sniffs and so much fox sniff as well!

For a change we visited a RSPB site and spent time in a hide watching ducks and geese. It took me back to when Holly and I watched out from hides from a site near Canterbury!

We didn't take there camera so we didn't come away with any pictures, naughty OTL.

However, we did take some of this mornings rain!

You know it made a right good change to see some wet stuff!

It makes a good change to see some North Sea Weather!

All the way around the walk it was drizzling but we didn't mind, I mean, after a month of blazing sun it was a welcome sight!

Talking of a month of sunshine, just look at the colour of the grass, it looks like the wheat after the combine harvester has been over it!

Since being back we haven't seen a frog but there have been Taddly Poles tearing around the pond and diving down to the bottom of the pond.

We will have to keep an eye open for the lilies all we got is the leaves, no flowers, claws crossed we get some flowers this year!

OK, I'm off to see what the food bowl has to offer!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.

  1. Yo Daisy. We did miss you while you were away. Glad you had a nice time even if you weren't allowed to go an evict the foxes from Martin and Liz's garden. Foxes do have a rather ripe sniff. I'm sad I never got to meet Miss Holly chops although my mum has told me lots about her. She sounds like a very clever woofer. You can't beat your own bed, but at least you got to sniff new sniffs in new places, which makes a change. We haven't had any rain, so our garden looks like the field except for the weeds wot look a very healthy green colour. My grumblies are getting much better, I'm still scoffing on chicken though and I love the chicken juice. My mum is getting a bit worried because I've been refusing to drink that yukky old tap water and insisting on chicken juice, she says I better start getting used to the yukky old tap water on account of she's not cooking me chicken every day just so I can drink the juice. I think I'll go and put my paws up until I get thirsty again. Take care, stay safe all. Love Chewie, the boy and my mum. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
