A Wet Day.

It's been off and on wet rain today so the camera has been resting on the desk while OTL has been playing with the dashboard gismo's.

These are a sort of GPS and a camera that records what is happening in front of the car and also warns of speed cameras ahead as you drive along.

This one is from Garmin that not only tells you if you stray across the central white line,  it also tells you if the traffic ahead of you is moving if you are sitting in a traffic queue, say at the lights or in a jam!

There is another gismo that shows you the speed you are doing and the speed camera location.

Sneaky!

I forgot to mention that OTL got his tooth repaired yesterday and that cost a little less than the cost of my six month supply of pills.

By the way, the pills I'm trying out, OTL has been looking up the cost and they are 0.17 each and if I need them then I'll. have to have them three times a day!

0.17 x 3 x 30 = £15.3 per month or 15.3 x 6 = £91.8 per six month! That is almost as expensive as OTL's dentist except OTL averages two visits per year to the dentist!

Now if you include the cost of getting a prescription, worming tablets and the yearly Hard Pad injection, I reckon we are about even on cost! Of course that doesn't include glasses and any sundry expenses!

I think I'll have to go and have a lay down and take away OTL's calculator before he starts crying!
